English Tutor/College Essay Expert

After three years writing and editing newspapers and magazines in Connecticut and New York, Ed Fians completed an M.A. in the humanities at the University of Chicago in 2007, studying Clown performance, phenomenology, and disability theory. Since, he has held positions teaching philosophy, composition, "Great books,", arts appreciation, literature, and pop culture at Harold Washington College, Prairie State College, and Roosevelt College in Chicago, and Seton Hall University in New Jersey. Ed currently teaches philosophy and English composition at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, CT. He also co-hosts and produces a local culture podcast, TalkArtRadio, for WSOU in New Jersey.
